What is needed to prepare for portrait sessions?

In all honesty, its up to you. However, there are some things that should be addressed. When preparing for a general portrait session, the look should be clean. The style of clothing and all those aspects of a shoot is based upon you. You should think about wearing something that looks nice, even something to represent you. Heavy makeup and outrageous clothing options should be avoided, unless we decide to take on more of an experimental feel for the shoot. Other than that, bring your best smile and some ideas as to how you want the photos to look.

How long before I get my photos?

This depends on how much time is needed in order to edit them. However, I have a pretty quick turn around when it comes to editing photos. The excitement usually gets to me and I start on them right away. Generally you can expect the edits between 3-4 days after the initial shoot. After the session we go through a viewing in order for you to decide which ones you would like.

How does payment work?

Payment is usually done after the session. If you are more comfortable, I will glady take deposits after the shoot and finish the payment when you recieve the photos. This will also help if you decide to add additional edits. Cash and credit are both accepted, and I would appreciate any information regarding how you would like to pay.

The design process, how does it work?

This can sometimes be a complex situation depending on the project. There will first be an initial meetup where you and I go over what you expect from the final project. If meeting is not an option, a detailed description, and I mean detailed, will be needed. I will then come up with different concepts and show them to you, where you then get to nit pick what you like or what you want changed. After we settle for an initial design, I will begin to create your work of art. I will involve you in every way I can to make it how you want. I will show you a work in progress to make sure the direction is for sure what you wanted. Then the completed final will be produced. On average, and depending on the project, it can take anywhere from 1-3 weeks.

How did you come up with the pricing?

It's simple. I'm doing this in order to help you bring out your creative side. The pricing that I have laid out is a competitive price among the markets I am dealing with. I often charge less than others because some places offer higher priced products, and I am here for affordability. Another thing that makes my process more unique is that you have a say in everything we do. So what's better than a personalized session at a lower cost? You be the judge.
